Why is the GAP Study Being Conducted?
Doctors, scientists, and researchers are constantly working to improve and increase the treatment options that are available to people with Alzheimer’s disease. This process involves scientific efforts to learn more about the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of investigational drugs for this disease.
These efforts – like the GAP Study – are called clinical research studies. In this case, the GAP Study is being conducted to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of an investigational drug for Alzheimer’s, and to determine if this investigational drug may help slow the progression of Alzheimer’s symptoms.
