Making a Decision
Deciding whether to participate in a clinical research study is up to the potential participant and his or her caregiver(s). If you or the person in your care decide not to participate in a clinical research study, that decision will not have any effect on the care that you or that person are receiving now, or that you will receive in the future. If you and the person in your care decide to take part, you may withdraw at any time during the research study.
